MG warranty question – can I go outside the dealership for service?

I picked up an MG RX5 about a year and a half ago and it's been mostly fine, but I'm coming up on the next scheduled service and honestly I'm really not keen on going back to the dealership. The last couple of times I went there it was a whole day ordeal just for an oil change, and I felt like they were trying to upsell me on things I didn't really need. I still have some warranty left though, so I'm trying to figure out if I have any options for getting the work done elsewhere without voiding it. A colleague mentioned that as long as the garage uses genuine parts and follows the manufacturer schedule, I should be okay, but I'm still a bit nervous about getting caught out if something goes wrong later. I was looking at a place that specializes in MG car maintenance and warranty service Abu Dhabi and it seems like they actually know these cars well, which would give me some peace of mind compared to a random general workshop. Has anyone here actually gone the independent route with their MG while still under warranty and can share how it went? I'd love to find a place that can get the service done properly without me losing half my Saturday waiting around, but I also don't want to risk a warranty claim getting rejected down the line over something stupid. Any advice would be appreciated.
