If you're planning to look for a new job, need to process a government document , or even just want to be prepared, getting your NBI Clearance online early is a smart move. I put it off and almost missed an opportunity because I didn't realize the processing times.
Here are the essential details you need to know:
Cost: The official clearance fee is ₱130, plus a ₱25 transaction fee, for a total of ₱155.
Payment: You can pay via GCash, Maya, Bayad Center, or 7-Eleven. Keep your reference number safe.
Valid IDs: Bring two valid government-issued IDs. Accepted ones include your Driver's License, Passport, PRC ID, Postal ID, or UMID.
Processing: If you have no "hit," your clearance is often released in 5–10 minutes. If there is a "hit," it can take 5–8 working days for manual verification.
Dress Code: Avoid sleeveless shirts, shorts, slippers, and crop tops for your official photo.
